First, I would like to thank you for visiting our website today. I pray that this visit may lead to you possibly joining us for one of our services soon.
My name is Ryan Miller, and I have been the pastor at First Baptist Church of Northern Heights since June 2017. Even though I am the new pastor, I am not new to Kansas City or to this church.
I am 35 years old, and was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Along with my family, I enjoyed 20 years as a part of First Baptist Church of Northern Heights. I was saved and baptized in 1990, and answered the call to the Lord’s ministry to preach in 2005.
In 2008 I married Isela “Chely” Espinosa, who is the daughter of our missionary, and the Lord has blessed us with 3 wonderful children in our years of marriage.
In 2009 we moved away from Kansas City to be missionary helpers at a Hispanic Mission work in Denton, Texas. We spent almost 9 years in Texas and Oklahoma studying and working in pastoral positions.
After all this time it is great to come back “home”. We have truly seen God bless our family and this church during our time here, and He isn’t done yet! We are reaching out to our local community, and sharing with them the powerful message that “Jesus Saves”.
Our goal is simple. Reach out to our world. Lead others to Christ. Baptize and bring them into the church membership. Disciple them. Repeat.
We are praying that God brings us more laborers who are willing to help “reap that harvest” by reaching out and sharing with others the Gospel message.
